Basically, Funako looks like a fairly plain but nicely dressed woman in her 20s-30s, wearing a work apron, along with high-wait skirts, nice blouses and sweaters, etc. and nice but simple hairdos sampled from fashion magazines. She may be a minor goblin in terms of personality, thus she tends to smirk.

Her Spirit Form is that of "Talons of Shurilane", a lizard-esque Duel Spirit from the Different Dimension and Ettosyleit, it has a humanoid form at the top, but it has an eye in the middle of its body that allows it to hypnotize prey, along with pulsing red-black flesh.

Personality:

The best way to explain Ms. Funako is she's a psychopath, in that she's manipulative, charming, capable of pretending to be a person and hold down a job, and able to minimize her risk in criminal activities. She's a combination of charming, perky and polite, and a hint of scheming. She's terribly aware despite being a beast from Ettosyleit, she is on the low to middle tier of the totem pole of beings in the Greater Domino Area. This makes her risk adverse and cautious, and willing to negotiate (aided by the fact she had a 13 or so person body count in her first 72 hours to reassemble her personality, giving her a sharper sense of how to think).

She finds the term Fujoshi (腐女子) funny, and unlike most of the beasts of Ettosyleit, is willing to learn and educate herself very rapidly on social norms. Due to a large chunk of her initial victims were Yakuza, she has also ingested a large number of information on Yakuza behavior.

She has little to no sense of compatriots or generosity, and views things in a fairly cynical manner of power relationships and is concerned with her own survival and to avoid being banished back to Ettosyleit, but she is reasonable enough to function in minimal day-to-day relationships to not seem wholly unhinged.

History:

It's unknown when the entity that has come to be called Maboroshi Funako first came into being, but she is a Level 7 Talons of Shurilane compared to her 'sister' who was a Level 6 that Onni dealt with, but she arrived in this world by the invitation of the Silver Key wielded by The Uncrowned Queen of the Bloody Moon, Kiriya Kamala, in roughly April 2022. She landed near the jewelry store, Jewelia, located in the TOP section of Domino. There in 72 hours, she hypnotized, killed and ate the staff of Jewelia as well as Yakuza gangsters that were trying to get predatory loans paid back. Three days later she encountered Samasu Sugur, an officer of OOPARTS who, for reasons beyond sense or sanity, was willing to go out on a limb and negotiate with the creature after it was willing to confess its own identity.

She was taken into custody by OOPARTS, where she confessed she had taken the invitation of the Uncrowned Queen to escape Ettosyleit to the reality of Earth, under the claim Ettosyleit itself had become even more of a hell than it is, due to the rage of one of the last standing Lords of the Unmade World, "Ceta Zoth-Ommog", the Last Scholar of Mu that consumed a majority of Mitsuhara Sabrina's soul in a deadly dark game, seeking revenge on the entity known as Aisenburn, and is constructing a Tower of Babel to reach the living world.

After her arrest, she has been (forcibly) weened on a diet of cephalopods to serve as an inferior dietary source to avoid making OOPARTS squeamish about the fact she views humans as food, still. She's just playing nice to ensure her request for Asylum remains valid.

In the three months then, she's hypnotized the friends and relatives of her current body to never approach, think about or talk to her, souring those relationships severely, as Funako is Not A People Person.

As it currently stands, however, she does have some intrigue besides running the jewelry store, Jewelia: Bohr seems to be interested in her (this is likely to end poorly for someone), and she seems to be seeking to bring her own sister to Earth, and is attempting to summon her... and may seek the Uncrowned Queen if her efforts fail.

Why is your character here?:
Suguru kept rolling positive rolls that resulted in a highly violent Duel Spirit trying to negotiate its way out of problems, which surprisingly succeeded. Suguru and Onni may also be actual idiots for allowing a highly violent murderous Duel Spirit from the worst part of reality to survive. I do not understand WHY she wasn't immediately portalled, other than maybe she low key hypnotized the two of them???
