And that she can't find any employees to run her shop and she doesn't want Aunt Shiroko's people touching her stuff.

Even though she's Aunt Shiroko but weirder.

Well, Rani, that's because your Aunt Funako didn't have a lot of friends for a very long time. So if she acts serious and weird it's because she's thinking of how to approach things when the only person she can trust is herself.

And yes, she's very persistent. But that's what kids are, Funako - persistent, bothersome, and you can't help but love them for it even when they make your life very complicated.
